All Is Vanity

This is a console bathroom vanity I just finished. We are having a new bathroom added to our basement, which gave me the opportunity to build a new project. I had a lot of fun designing and building this. It’s all white oak, including the plywood sides and bottom shelf. It was stained with three coats of Rust Oleum Kona stain (which I would highly recommend), and has three coats of Minax satin polyurethane. My wife and I are very happy with the finished product.

Very attractive piece. So will this be plumbed in place at its permanent location?

I have used Kona stain on pine before giving it a top coat of paint. The result is an antique, distressed look. Love your vanity. Somewhere on my project list is a vanity to replace an existing vanity that we don’t like much.

Neat and sleek vanity. Like the stain and finish as well as the hardware. Great job!
