Pictured: Men’s valet box, this box is made from Walnut and Pecan, I wasn’t sure how the combination would turn out when I matched these two woods together, doesn’t seem as though I got the contrast I was really wanting as it seems they blend in to much, I’ll chalk it up as a learning experience. This box has my hidden drawer along with my hidden compartment only instead of an open tray on top I optioned from a shaker panel lid, this is my first shaker lid and the center piece is also pecan with the outer being walnut, the splines drawer pulls and hinges are also pecan, I once again used Grizz, Patron and Andy side mounted hinges with brass pins.
It measures 13” x 7” x 9”, finished in a single coat of tung oil, a few coats of wipe on poly and a final coat of paste wax.
