Project Information

My IT department had recently been outsourced and I always wanted to start a Handyman business and one of the first jobs I was asked to do was build a corner cupboard. I had never built anything this involved but after finding some plans online and studying them I felt confident I could pull it off. I built the whole thing in our dining room, my fiancé was very patient. It's built from oak plywood and solid oak trim. The customer wanted a dark stain to match her other furniture. When you open the doors on top it has a glass shelf with 1/4" mirror around the back. After I installed it she wanted mirror in the open area as well. She was very happy and I gained more skills to build more projects.

What a shame you had to give up clicking a mouse all day in exchange for a meaningless life of creating beautiful furniture that people will enjoy for decades.

Great corner cabinet.

Wonderful corner cabinet! Like the design and the dark stain and finish. I'm sure you'll do great in the new business.
