chisel rack

I have been keeping my chisels in the package they came in for far too long. I recently managed to knock them off the bench on to the floor destroying three of their edges. With a little poplar, cork and redwood scraps stuck together they can now be on the wall along with my marking gauge.
A couple shoutouts needed here:
Minwax; for blotchy finish
HF brushes and my cats for the hair-in texture.

Looks great. How did you cut the top slots?

Elvin, I used each chisel to make their own mortises with a little extra width. I then used a round rasp followed by a bastard to match the taper where they contact. Very time consuming but great fun and practice. The marking gauge
hook is a wedged mortise and tenon from the back.
Thanks all.
