Deck Cooler Box

This is deck cooler box I built using treated fence pickets. I basically wrapped a Coleman cooler with them and put it on legs. I did add a brass faucet to the drain and handles for some extra character. Price is well over $100 in stores for these and with the treated and big box store cooler sale I only have no more than $50 into this with the cooler being around $20 of that.

Thanks for looking

This is a nice project. It reminds me of one of the old primitive solid ice coolers.

man, that’s a nice idea and a neat little project. Do you think you’ll stain it or leave it raw and have it gray out. Should you decide to stain it. Flood makes a great deck stain that will hold up to the water and outdoor environment.

Too cool and so simple that it’s beautiful, functional, and doesn’t break the bank, and yet still looks better than what you can buy commercially! Excellent job!

Great job on that good looking cooler. It is way better and more affordable than the store bought ones. Well done!
