So if anyone follows SEC football or is familiar with the Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn University college football rivalry, you will either love it or hate it!

For those that may not know, This is the “Script A” for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Made from Cherry and Maple…chosen for the colors of Crimson and White!

The scroll is about 6 inches tall and the Cherry is 3/4” thick. Sitting on a Maple platform that measures approximately 7” x 2 3/4”.

Hand sanded with small detail files and sand paper and taken to 00 steel wool.

The finish is Danish oil to make the colors pop and a few coats of paste wax and hand buffed.

Very enjoyable project. It was given to my dad for Father’s Day.

As always, thanks in advance for looking and commenting!

Hate it….terrible form, bad color, etc. It’s also missing a #2, because Alabama will always be second to Auburn in my heart…haha. WAR EAGLE!!! All kidding aside, very nice project.

You might consider Padauk for the Auburn one.
