First of all I have to advise that his BILL is made of wood, and the block he is standing on is also wood.
This Forum doesn’t appear to have a “Other things we make” place so I hope that it is OK to post Percy here.

Percy stands 30inches tall and is constructed on a steel rod frame, which includes his legs and feet. His body is two pieces of polystyrene glued together and then shaped and wrapped with plaster impregnated bandages to give more strength and also some texture. His feet are covered with leather and small shells make the beach he is standing on.

Thank you for looking, comments are welcome.

Very unique, this is a love at first site project. My wife loves him, and wants me to make her one??? I don’t see any way possible, that I could turn this on a lathe.

That is terrific Bob, enough wood in the beak to keep the peace. I agree there should be “any other material
section” but I have been through this before.

Beautiful and adorable pelican, every detail is well executed. It makes a great conversation piece. Great job!
