I got bored last weekend so I decided to break out the Jet lathe and turn a lidded box. I had some scraps hanging around so I laminated some purple heart to maple to goncalo alves. Not the best but every now and then you just need to start and finish a quick project to kickstart you into finishing larger ones.

Using different types of wood together is something i learned from watching Wood Works. Great show, miss it big time. Big fan of tung oil finish too, never use stain myself.
