Wood curtain rail.

I got curtains with loops in them from my brother but the round wood poles and brackets are quite expensive here so I thought I’ll try and make my own. I also added a hidden rail to the back of the rail for the net curtain so that it can also open and close. The bracket is made from pine pallet wood and the rail was a roof baton that I just cleaned up. Sorry for last pic quality. Finished in Burnt Amber varnish(Lacquer).

-- Create, create, create create. It makes my blood flow. And what better material to use than wood, you can repeat the same object 1000 times and none will look the same in natural form.

Oh those pesky pallets, and roof battens don’t you just love them!

Nice work.

Beautiful curtain rails. Great way to recycle old stuff and creating something new out of them. Great job!

Have your say...
