This bench was made for my son Tyler. It’s a little big for him now, but he’ll be growing into it in the very near future. It’s made from Ash with a wipe on poly finish. The boards were milled and cut to length with machines, but the joinery and surface prep was done by hand. It was one of the first projects at school (woodschool.org).

Lovely bench, I like the layout of the the half-blind dovetails – they complement the proportions of the bench nicely. I’m sure he’ll love it as those legs get longer! I’ve got a 2-year old and benches/stools are indispensable around our house.
