This is the first in a series of pieces for a longtime client and friend. The wood is from her 100+ year old childhood barn, I chose to create veneer from the barnwood siding to achieve the look we are after and to best utilize a limited supply of the material. This is finished with a post cat conversion varnish. The veneer is laid on Baltic Birch substrate.

Love the weathered look. Very nice. I am always on the lookout to score some of this wood.
