This is a coin holder that I made for a friend of mine. It is set at a 15 degree angle. The 1/4” dados were cut at the same angle (so they would be vertical) on my table saw and the the coins slightly lean back. Then it was hand sanded to 00 steel wool. It is red oak stained with a dark walnut to contrast the coins. Finished with three coats of spray poly and two coats of paste wax.

Thanks for looking!

Simple design is sometimes the best. You created a beautiful storage for displaying the great collection.

Thanks for the kind comment! I made this for a friend but while taking pictures to post I decided to use a few of my own that I got recently from my deployment to Afghanistan.

Chad,
Nice clean coin holder! That reminds me that I need to post a pic of one given to me recently.
