The coffee table is black walnut and the middle is what’s left of an oak tree.It has a bartop finish on it and so do my end tables.

Very well designed and put together. I am definitely using …I mean stealing…this idea from you! With the end tables, this coffee table would be a great compliment piece.

Wayne: a wonderful design. I usually pass up pieces with the center missing, but not anymore. I am about to use the bartop finish on a project and was wondering if you had any problems with bubbling.

You could put a stuffed owl in the hole to enhance the haunted wood affect :^)
