Your rising dovetails are nice and tight. Good work.

Beautifully done!

I found out yesterday that I need a mallet. After seeing the prices for a mallet at the woodworking store, I also learned that I need to make a mallet.

I must say, this design of yours is very nice. It really appeals to my sensibilities. I may (if you don’t mind, of course) mimic the means of joining that you have done here. (Although it is probably over my head)

Good work on the mallet. Like Doug said, those are some tight joints. I made the mallet at Roy Underhill’s Woodwright class and it was a load of fun!

Great looking mallet! I have been using the rubber ‘dead-blow’ hammers, but really aught to make one of these. This one almost looks too good to use!

Just decided – that’s my favourite looking mallet so far. Beautiful work there.
