well, i haven’t posted anything for a couple of months … so here are three projects that we finished recently. i give credit for the design of that first walnut piece to my client, who sent me an image and some words about how he would like it different. it was a challenge, but we’re pleased with the results and so is he. the second project is an 11’6” 'french country farm table', similar to one on our website that we did in about 2006. and the last piece is a new version of a lutyens style desk, similar, but smaller than one we built like it in 2009. if you follow the links to my blog, you will see more photos as well as construction comments and processes. we’re also underway on a new metal shop and you can see photos of that project there also ..

Three beautiful pieces. I greatly admire the finishes on the traditional pieces. They look old, but very well cared for. Not an easy look to replicate, you did and outstanding job on these. The builds are also excellent work.

luv the first piece. I would never have thought that a broken up wood pattern could look so good. I also like the fact you let it speak, and did not make the base & lid overwhelm the wood pattern. If I had $$$ I’d buy one!

Wow, they all look really well done, I wish I were talented enough to make something that looks like the walnut piece.

That walnut piece is stunning. Looks very rich in color and texture. I like the metal base. Very clean looking. Good job.
