Very nice chair! I have a set of plans very similar to this chair You spurred me to start cutting mine out!

I built mine about 10 years ago out of cypress. I love the chairs. They are much more comfortable than they look. I want to build a love seat in the same look and I may use eastern red cedar. I have a local mill for it at a good price.

Thanks gentleman, they really are more comfortable then they look. My wife didn’t want to sit in it at first but now she does her work sitting in it when the weather is nice. i hope mine lasts ten years.
