Work Cabinet Bench

This is a work cabinet (for lack of a better word) that I build for my shop. It has 4 drawers on each side with cabinets in the middle. I used a hybrid of the WoodWhisperer cabinet design for the base and the New Yankee cabinet design with a lap jointed 2×4 as a support frame for the top. There is also 100# drawer extensions.

When I was putting the drawers in, I was a hair over-sized on the drawer space. To correct this, I put a washer behind the draw slides on the interior of the cabinet which perfectly aligned everything.

For the trim, I used some leftover bamboo flooring which I cut to size and glued and nailed.

Thanks for looking.

Great job.
That should hold a ton of your stuff.
That trim detail is a very nice touch, and your solution on the drawer slides is one to remember.
