This is a small router bit cabinet I put together with some scrap plywood, pocket screws (door frame) and dados. It was a fun little project.

The bit shelves slide in and out on the dados so that you can pull the shelf out, set it next to the router table and pick your bit. When you’re done, slide it back into the shelf and you’re good to go. I got the idea from a YouTube video or a magazine article, I can’t remember which. I made a few changes to make it into a cabinet with the plexiglass door.

I wish I had a drill press as all of my bit holds are not quite straight but they still do the job.

Thanks for looking!

It looks good and great way to organize the bits. They are all now very easy to find and get. Well done!

This is nice and very handy for the shop.
