This is a bassinet that I made for my granddaugter. I found a picture of one a lot like this in the magazine (Antique) that was made back in the 1700s. I went from the picture and drew up my own plans and built this one you see in the picture. The bassinet is made of walnut and trimmed in maple. I finished it just about two weeks before my granddaughter was born. Don

Fine looking bassinet! Great design and like the use of the contrasting woods. You just created a family heirloom. Impressive work!
