This sunglass display is 6’ wide by 4’ tall and is 5 1/2” deep. These are my first hand cut dovetails. Nothing fancy, I chickened out and just made one large tail at each joint. I also thought that being this big that laying out more pins and tails might have looked a little busy. The copper pipe is sanded with 320 wet/dry paper and spayed with Krylon clear acrylic. I finished the walnut with 3 coats of shellac (Bull’s Eye Seal Coat) thinned to a 1lb cut so that I could apply it a little easier.

Looks good!
I’m glad to see you included a portrait of yourself in the first photo. ;-)

I think the 1 large dovetail works great for the case, sometimes less is more. Besides, the rest of the project looks great too!
