Project that got me in Trouble With the Father in law

My Wife let me know that my mother in law asked about making a case for my father in laws belt buckles from the Cattlemen. So I whipped up this case. Little did I know there was a long standing battle over the belt buckles needing to be moved off of a bookshelf. So When I gave it to him I suddenly became part of the anti belt buckle conspiracy. Sometimes you cant win.

I do not see a problem,
The MIL asked for it
its a free standing project, and very well done I might add.
So just who didn’t like it?

Mind you DO NOT argue with MILs !!

Nice job on the case. I’m sure he will come to appreciate it.

You did a very nice job and great looking finish on that case. Your Father in Law should be proud. You took time to make him a special case for him. One day he will realize what you did for him and appreciate what you did for him. Be proud of what you have made and give a big smile to everyone you know.

You only did what the customer wanted. The rest is for your entertainment. Good job.

nice work, you should just tell your father in law to stop whining, the women always win… and even when they don’t win, they still win.

good luck with the conspiracy, at least he has a really nice case now!

“Father-in-law” Hmm, don’t you know that you can never win anything at anytime with him? After all, you ‘stole’ his daughter away from him, and, and, and…
