A fun project for a cold winter day in Australia. Started out to be a 2 up 2 down winged box but lost the bottom wings in the process, then got the idea of trying to see how small these winged can be turned (have done smaller ones today). Warning – watch the fingers if you try and do the 2 small ones from one piece of wood.

Jim, the base started off 6 inch square and was to be 2 up 2 down wings but shit happens. Looks a bit rough as I tried to embezzle the wings to give it an oriental look. Now have the bug to do a bigger one.

Very interesting piece, never would have thought to do that.
Thanks for showing.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.
