I finished this bench in march for a customer she brought me the headboard and told me what she wanted with storage.it was a pretty fun build this is the second bench i’ve done for her.its built with construction grade lumber for framing and 1/2”birch for the sides and 3/4” birch for the top.she finished it with distressed paint and fabric over the panels.

thanks for looking and as always any good or bad feedback is appreciatted.

Fine work Marty… My mom wants a small wardrobe and I been studying on frame and panel construction with an eye towards cutting a grove and mounting 1/2” oak plywood in the panels. I really like the way you handled these. How bout I send you the spec’s and you just build it for me….could be our secret…lol

Good looking and sturdy bench! Has a very nice distressed look and big storage. I’m sure that this will last long and get lots of use. Great work!
