Here are a few pictures of one of our recent jobs. In the past couple of months we have completed 2 walnut jobs, both were larger scale jobs, and we completed a smaller hickory and a smaller maple job. The job I am showing is the maple job because it is a project we do not do much of. We rarely ever do anything with maple and I tend to avoid stain types of jobs. I tend to try and sell Walnut, Hickory and Mesquite and if stain is requested then I try and push Oak. But if required we do what the customer’s tell us. In fact, this maple job was sold as a walnut job but their In Laws told them walnut would be too dark for their color scheme so they went with maple.
You might notice this job has a glazed highlight in the profile portions of the doors. The drawer faces are going to get glazed on the Door lip profile as well. And we utilized a light rail molding which added a nice look to this kitchen.
