This is part of a commission for a friend. She requested a cheese tray and matching bottle stopper. This is simply a glued up blank of 8/4 maple and cherry. I found some nice cabinet hardware to use as handles and finished with a few coats of mineral oil and George’s Club House Wax (bee’s wax and mineral oil). I have a cherry bottle stopper blank glued up with 2 maple accents running at 15-degree angles. With luck, I’ll have that wrapped up tomorrow evening.
