Had 2 boards in the garage that I have been saving for a special project. A friend of mine is getting married in a few weeks, perfect opportunity to use the boards. The lid is out of carob and I’m not positive what species the body is…it says cherry on one edge and smells like cherry but it doesn’t look like any cherry I’ve worked with. Carob really is a nice wood and I haven’t managed to find any for sale online or anywhere locally. I hope that my little stash isn’t the end of me working with it. Thanks for looking.

8 1/2” deep

That sure is pretty! I’m sure it will make a fine wedding gift!

Very neat wood in this box. The dovetails almost get lost in it. A really interesting piece.

nice work. I like Carob, but it is hard to find. Very hard wood too.
