Here are some pics of an Alligator slab table I made for my garage. I inlayed some copper against black sand in a few areas to fill some voids and cracks. This was my first attempt at inlaying anything so still figuring some things out, things I could’ve done different, etc.. but overall happy with the project. The tables only purpose is to put stuff on… hunting gear and what not + it was a bit experimental. I’m sure it will get a bit beat up over time but someday I can sand down again re-finish it if necessary. Enjoy the pics and any advice or tips for future inlays is well received. I’ve done other projects with logs and slabs but first inlay..

Monte… the slab is alligator juniper as well as the bases.

That is a very awesome table and like it…but where does the alligator fit in?
