This was a fun project, and it turns out he wants the pentagon in the middle filled in now, which is not a big deal. I wanted to fill it in anyhow so you could sit a nice cold tasty beverage on it. He wanted the tables higher than the normal tables so he can sit these in his bar area and people can stand next to them and use them.

Gluing the tops and bottoms were interesting to figure out because I had to cut some shims with the same angles as the table so the clamp would be square. These are made from common lumber that you find at big home improvement stores. I planed the pieces using a thickness planer.

looks like a clamping nightmare….. but I like challenges of this kind! Nice work :-)
