This box is made with a maple and cherry inlay in the walnut lift lid. The body features natural worm holes and spalting that run throughout the maple.
The lid is a perfect match to the box as it was cut directly from the box after initial assembly and will fits snugly.

Momot, this has real charm in a wabi-sabi sort of way. Nice job. I like the top stripe. Looks like you had some fun with this. I’ll bet the spalted maple really soaked up the finish.
