Wife gives me a hard time about leaving shoes all over the place. Had some extra wood from a previous project. Seemed like a simple solution.
Knocked out the cuts / assembly in one day. The next day did sanding & 3 coats of water based poly.

Looks great! Did something similar using raised panels for the ends. I was actually testing/practicing using new raised panel router bit set and thought I would make something functional.

Shoes gotta be one of the toughest things to try and build something for that keeps them compact, neat and tidy. This is as good as anything I’ve seen. Way to go!

Boy! Could we use something like this or what! I think we could use one with 6 or 12 shelves! Great idea!
