This is as far as I was commissioned to go with this project. It will now go to an artisan who is to carve religious motives on the vases and chalice and finish them with gold leaf, jewels etc. Not an enjoyable project but the money offered was good. I had already completed this set, thin walls, polished etc when she changed her mind and wanted the walls thick for carving and now has changed her mind again and wants them done in Tasmanian Oak. My reply “stiff …. lady this is what you get” the customer is not always right. I have been paid.

Thanks for the comments, Sam I do sign my work but these will be gold leafed and the signature covered over but maybe my name will be discovered in years to come.. (on the antique road show, maybe, haha)
Jim I only have 1 set, I throw the ist in the garbage bin to p… her off and forgot to retrieve them before clearance day, they were the better set. Pete, Customer always right, don’t agree, I produced what she wanted and now she wants them in Tasmanian Oak. I don’t think so, I’ve been paid.
