Hey guys and gals, hope you had a good memorial day weekend, now its nose back to the grindstone., This is a hybrid version of the woodwhisperer and WWMM clock. I liked the four supports from WWMM and the square inner piece from the woodwhisperer. The outer frame of the clock is made from walnut and the inner piece is red oak along with the dowels and the miter splines, This was my first attempt at a rattlecan lacquer finish and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be (but dont we all do that lol) This is going to be a wedding present for my best friends sister this coming weekend. I needed a project that wouldnt take to much time and fuss but still turn out really well and I think this was the right fit. Thanks

Love this clock, nice simple elegant design, hope that you don’t mind if I borrow this design., will have use for this later in this year. Kinda reminds me of looking out the window, watching time pass by.

I like this design a lot! Very simple, but still a great looking piece. Well done!

It sure make a great gift. Love the design especially the splines and the contrasting woods used. Great job!
