This is a caricature of a metal toy truck, sold in 1933. I only made 8 of these and ended the production, 6 have been sold at a state run art gallery which commissioned the items. One was on display at a local craft gallery (display only not for sale) and was sold for one forth of its listed price by mistake, some one got a deal there, and one is in a private collection. The wood is recycled pine 2×4 out of a home remodel.

Very nice, I like the way of leaving out all the unnecessary details that would be vulnerable while it’s played with. Great (and strong) looking truck.

It’s a nice toy and the kids will love it.

I found some more pics of the truck including one of it with the bulldozer that is sold with it. Hope this helps those who wanted more pics. For anyone interested the price of these at the art center is about $60 if I remember right. I will be making a new version that is not a limited edition for about $40 for the set.
