Window Boxes Window Boxes Window Boxes Click the pictures to enlarge them

Hey all,

I have been looking through a lot of pictures this weekend, and have come across several old projects that I thought some might like to see before I loose thought of them. This project is some window boxes that I built back in 2005 at the request of my wife. They are built out of cypress and painted green with an exterior latex paint. The boxes are built to hold a single 36” platsic flower box.

The first two pictures are shortly after planting in 2005. The third picture is one of those this year.

We have really enjoyed the boxes and so has the neighborhood. I must say, the hardest thing is keeping them watered.

Hope you enjoyed.

Super looking window boxes!

My wife has been after me to make some of these! How did you fasten them to the wall?

Lew,

There are two blacks probably 1.5” wide and 2”-3” long that are lag bolted to the wall with anchors. Then window boxes simply screw to the mounting block. Really simple to install.
