I have an old ShopSmith 10ER that I piddle around with in my shop. However, until recently I had never used it as a lathe. I first made a tiny baseball bat as a test which was totally fun to do. Yesterday I turned this goblet from a piece of scrap wood I found. I think I spent as much time cleaning up as I did turning! ha! Pure fun.

Good looking cup. Has a swiril look to it with a nice finish. Lathes are fun.

Nice piece. Turning is very hooky. Beware.

Lovely cup! It has a great shape and swirl and the finish sets it off. Well done!
