Don’t quite know what to do with it – Sugar, Honey, Candy, Stash box???
Any Ideas?

Sanded to 600 grit, Mineral oil and Beeswax

Thanks For Looking.

I know what it is nick. It’s the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Beautiful job my friend. I’d put it on my display shelf. It’s a real treasure.

Nice Nick, That is a beautiful piece of wood.
You did it justice.
Fill it with salt and put it in a kitchen cabinet between the plates. Then you get to see it every day.

great looking little box. Spalted maple always makes very interesting and attractive looking turnings.

Very nice bowl! I am just learning the lathe and such work as yours is quite the inspiration. Great job!

Regular maple is one of my favorites to work with, but spalted, mineral stained maple like this is probably in my top 5 of all woods to work with. I have a precious bit of it myself and I try my best to use every little cut off. you’ve done an outstanding job with this piece, whatever you decide to do with it will be a home run!
