Turned maple bowl with copper inlay and burn mark. I used two different gauges of copper wire- set a groove with the parting tool- then used super glue to set the copper. After the glue set I sanded down the copper flush with the wood. Finished with General Finishes Wood Turners Finish. On the first attempt with the copper I sanded too far and the wire separated from the wood at about 1000 rpm- wear those face shields!
