A couple weeks ago I lost my Mom to age and failing health so I really wanted to build this for her it was my way of helping the mourning process, she always loved any projects I would build for her, I think this would make her smile. It was built with Love. It was built with Black Walnut and Red Oak
Love and miss you

The contrast of the walnut and red oak work beautiful together. It looks finely crafted. A great way to pay tribute. I am sorry for your loss

My friend I am also sorry for your loss. WOW, Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship. Yes it’s a wonderful tribute to her to be such a fine work of art by your personal handicraft. By way of advise to me, as I want to build my own and possibly my wife’s; what are the either inside or outside of the urn? Does the crematory deliver the remains in a capsule that must fit inside? And does it load from the bottom. end or top? What prevents the remains from leaking or spilling should in the long hall it be dropped or knocked off its shelf? Thanks for your advise!!!

I can’t fathom how difficult this would be to make. Great job.

It is beautiful; i can feel the emotion even through the photo. I like being able to process my grief by getting to do memorials and urns for folks i love too…it must be really hard with mom though.

A loving tribute… I am in the process of designing an urn for my brother-in-law right now and said goodbye to my sister-in-law this weekend. I was honoured to create her urn with love and craftsmanship. I am sorry for your loss.
