Seeing several of the bandsaw boxes I got the urge to try one. I used a chunk of Circassian Walnut I had left over, and proceeded to make just about every mistake possible in the construction.Learned a lot doing it, such as I need to get an 1/8” blade for my band saw, cut the front slice off AFTER you make the center cutout, and SAND in the interior of the cut out and the drawer BEFORE you glue the slices back on!!!!

But it was fun! Now I need to start looking for chunks of other types of wood to make more!

Wow I thought the color of the wood was the stain at first…very cool

Nice wood color! I thought it was the finish you used! Small and cute. Terrific band saw box though!

It looks wonderful, love the colors and grains on wood. Your finish is flawless and more band saw boxes to come.
