Hi everyone,
My name is Matt. This is my first post here at LumberJocks. Great place for information and inspiration. This was one of the first things I ever built for myself. I needed a place to store my fishing rods, and also a more convenient way to re-spool the reels.
The rack was built using rough sawn red cedar. A pretty simple plan that I found online. I added the “spooling station”. All in all it works pretty well. I messed up the angle of the bottom support board, so I have to fiddle with the rods to get them to stay in the stand.

Nice. I thought about one of these myself. I really like the spooling station idea.
