Cutting bread boards from maple and walnut

I made these cutting/bread boards for a friend, they measure roughly 11” x 16” x 1/2” thick, they are made from hard maple and walnut, and I finished them with mineral oil.

Sweet! I also like to put contrasting colors in my boards. It always makes them look so much more pleasing to the eye

These look great!

I like making simple boards like this for folks. At least you know they will actually use them to cut on, unlike the fancy ones we make which many people simply use for display. I make them to be used…

Good looking and well made boards! Like the design, woods used and especially the holes for hanging them.
