I have built a lot of these chairs for myself, family, and customers. I wanted a good design for the footstools and couldn’t find one I liked, so I designed these myself. These were painted with high quality Behr outdoor paint and primer with a top coat of Minwax Polycrylic.
I have put up a complete blog on how I came up with the design and the step by step build on my personal blog at http://rogersfinewoodworking.com/blog/2008/07/04/designing-a-footstool-for-adirondacks/. Stop by, have a look, and say hello.
