Need one of those. How did you make the pegs?

The pegs are just 1/2 oak dowels.

The larger caps on the dowels I cut out of the same white oak with a hole-saw drill bit I had

I am kinda nervous about something. You know how little (grand) kids don’t lift up their jackets to get them down, they just pull and pull…........ cuz they are small.

I am a little worried a wood peg wouldn’t hold.

I realized that possibility towards the end of the project, but wifey wanted $14 hooks, and I couldn’t see that, and I had begun with the idea towards making these out of all wood.

So far so good…............... they are perfect height and will hold everything we will ever need them for.

Thanks for looking

It’s beautiful and functional. Love the dowels. I am sure it’s the busiest place around the house. Great work!

Have your say...
