My daughter wanted a ring box instead of a pillow since her wedding is on a beach and my 7 year old grandson is the ring bearer. Only had a few days to get this completed but she was happy with it. Box is cocobolo

Very nice box. Great placement of the wood grain on the lid. I am sure your daughter loves it.

Gorgeous piece for a happy occasion! I’ll bet this becomes a wedding heirloom for many more generations.

The hinge placement and inlay are extra thoughtful! I’m sure this will always be one of her treasures!

Very nice! ...even the felt. Never seen that much cocobolo…usually just for pens and such. Very nice job. I bow to the master. I hear heirloom. Congrats on your Daughters wedding. Have fun on the beach trip.

Nice box, and good idea putting a lock on it. I cant see a box like that making a trip down the beach in a seven-year-olds hands without being opened along the way!
And I’m guessing your daughter was holding the key :-)
