Boxes from skids

Project by thebee posted 493 days ago 415 views 0 times favorited 9 comments Add to Favorites Watch

New to the site, always liked working with wood. Bought a used planer and found some skids. These boxes and about 40 more were the result. Found red and white oak also poplar. Had fun figuring out how to make hinges.

Wow. 40 boxes! That’s prolific. With handmade hinges no less. Very impressive.

Very nice, wow 40 boxes.

Looks like you got at least 1 skeleton (skull) in your closet there :).

Nice job.

You wouldn’t believe how many pallet boards that I have salvaged !!! They are a great source of thinner project wood and often highly figured !
