Our yard is full of these industrious little guys. We like watching them so I made a little
feeder with an old canister jar! Got a couple of nice pics of them last week!

P.S. I now must buy stock in a (peanut company) man…they are HUNGRY!

Happy Cutting Everyone! :)

I like your feeder. We also have an overabundance of the critters in our neighborhood. I’m not really inclined to feed them – but I like your idea.

Nice design. I got ‘em all over out here. Will have to give this a try.

Watching tree rats eat a hedgeapple is an afternoon’s entertainment as well.

We don’t feed ours as they seem to stay fat on our pecans, acorns, and hickory nuts.

We managed to fight the little guys off of a good batch of pecans last fall, but still, they seem to be PLENTY healthy without a feeder. But if I can provide some entertainment for our cats out on the screened porch, I’m all for it! Good plan, looks doable! Thanks for the plan!

Interesting! I saw a squirrel grab the neighbors dog bone from the yard and scurry up a tree! I had to get that on video….I second the sunflower seeds!

I’m guessing they get in from the bottom?

Very nice work. Do you have a picture and rough measurements you used? Thanks.

I lose at least half of my apricots to those darn things. No need to feed them, they are everywhere.

Nice job on the project. Glad you enjoy it.
