My oldest Daughter needed more storage in her room. I read an article in Fine woodworking by Mike Dunbar building this type of cup board all with Hand tools. I like the size and design so I made one for my daughter. It is made of Poplar and Cherry. I stained the poplar with a red dye and the cherry is natural finish with a satin poly. My method of construction was mostly power tools but I did use many hand tools for final fitting and prepping for finishing. The inlay is store bought but I want to try and do more of my own inlaying in the future.

Very nice work Neal. How did she like it? The inlay adds a real nice touch to it.
