saw on this web site, people making wooden rings, thought i’d give it a try. Made from walnut and maple venier.
Bent and glued around a wooden dowel then turned on a lathe. used supper glue for finish.

So cool!!! I was thinking of trying that too sometime. Great use of scraps! How are they made? Does it take alot of handsanding? Very nice work!!!
