years ago I gave my buddy some scrap wood, he was a mechanic and I was shocked that he wanted some wood ( most mechanics that I know hate sawdust). He made some grips for a pistol that showed real talent. when he showed me the flames that he carved, I could not believe it!! I thought that he had a friend make them on a CNC machine. AWESOME!!!!

A little over a year ago, I made the flame pen for his surprise 40th birthday party (I used the throwaway parts to make the one with black flames) Well he died of a heart attack the day before the party. My best friend of 25 years.

The last picture is an unfinished tribute tattoo of him. Unfinished meaning that there are no flames yet!!

REST IN PEACE BROTHER!!!

Thank you all.

oldnovice, they were not CNC carved, they were carved with a dremel and hand sanded!
