"Burning the Midnight Oil"

This is my 3rd wood burning project that I have just completed. It is of my husband, Dennis Zongker carving. Using a photograph I transferred the image onto a piece of basswood 15-in. x 21-in. Being that Dennis’ carving area is in the “Old Metz Brewery” which was built in 1859 the idea was to create an old time feeling. I still have a lot to learn but this piece has a lot of meaning behind it and it was a pleasure to burn.

Thank you Dennis for your advice while burning, applying the finish and taking these photos you are a great inspiration to me. Thank you

You did a great job on this Little Bit!!!

Very nice for a third (or any) attempt. ..... but then you have an extremely talented teacher.
